      Technical Details:

      Advanced Optical Sensing

      The detector uses a combination of an ultraviolet (185-260nm) and two infrared (1.0-2.7µm) sensors. This multi-spectrum method ensures the detector can identify a wide range of flame types, from hydrocarbon fires to invisible flames, while rejecting false alarm sources.

      Performance and Sensitivity

      With a high sensitivity setting, the Talentum UV/IR2 flame detector can detect a 0.1m² n-heptane fire at a distance of 25 metres. The field of view is a 90° cone, ensuring broad coverage of the protected zone. Response speed and sensitivity are selectable to suit the application.

      Built for Industrial Environments

      The detector is housed in a rugged die-cast zinc alloy enclosure with a rating of IP65, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It operates in temperatures from -10°C to +55°C and is engineered to withstand the demands of challenging industrial settings.
